Join Our Society
Become a member of the Holland Art Society to enjoy exclusive events, workshops, and opportunities to showcase your artistic talents and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Any adult can join the society, they can be experienced artists or simply have an interest in art.
Cost
For 2026 the membership is free, but you need to register as a member.
Entry fee is £3 for members and £6 for non-members.
From 2027 cost of membership is £25 per year. The annual membership payment is required at the first demonstration evening of the year, although can be paid after this time.
Workshops
Our workshops give opportunity for learning and have a focus on various subjects throughout the year.
Demonstrations
Professional artists are invited to share their knowledge and experience in using different mediums and techniques.
Monthly competition
Competition takes place on the demonstration evening. Each month our winner will receive a free entry to the following month’s demonstration and a small prize. The competition is free for members to enter. Members can make as many entries as they please.
Exhibitions
We organise a number of group exhibitions through out the year at established galleries in the Tendring district. There is usually a small hanging fee for each submitted painting.
Social Events
Additionally, members are invited to social events with friends and family. Our social events are usually at a small cost as food and refreshments are sometimes provided.
Discounts
Membership also entitles the holder to a 5% discount at Clacton Arts and Craft shop. Members wishing to take advantage will need to show their membership card.
Venue
We meet in The Holland Public Hall, 137-139 Frinton Road, Holland-on-Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 5UR.
The venue is wheelchair friendly and has disabled toilets. Motorised scooters are welcomed in the public parts of the venue.
Light refreshments are available during the break.
Free car parking is at the rear of the building.
Time
6:30-9:00pm on every second Monday and last Monday of the month (this may change if a bank holiday).

Just come along, no need to book, bring a friend if you can.
