Dear Member,
The committee is responsible for ensuring that the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) protocols are in place and are reviewed and updated yearly.
In view of this, the members’ registration form has been updated. Please take the time to read through the changes below.

Data Protection and Privacy
Holland Art Society acts responsibly by following Data Protection and Health & Safety advice.
At registration we ask for your contact details which includes Name, Address, Telephone number, and Email Address.
All information is kept within the General Data Protection Regulations, which requires all personal data to be kept safe and secure and only used for the purpose for which it was collected.
Purpose of Data Collection
The purpose of collecting your personal data is to enable HAS to share with you:
- Planned events, workshops and demonstrations
- Other society events
- Any changes to these activities
Your data will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected as stated above and will not be used or passed on for any other reasons than that stated.
Email Communication
Email addresses collected are used to inform you of HAS news and events. You will receive regular updates.
Important Update: If you do not wish to receive this form of sharing news and events, please do not add your email details to the form.
For existing members, please inform Secretary Tina if you would like your email details to be removed from our records.
Photography Policy
At Workshops and Demonstration evenings, we often ask those present if there are any objections to the taking of photos for sharing on our Facebook page and newsletters.
If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please state this at the time of being asked.
To avoid being in any pictures that are taken, please remove yourself from the area where the photos are being taken.
Health & Safety
In line with Data Protection and Health and Safety issues, you are given a membership card which shows your name and membership number. On the reverse side of this card is space for you to add your next of kin and Emergency Contact details. Please keep this card and bring it with you every time in case of emergencies.
The Holland Public Hall provides advice and notices on additional Health and Safety Policies where necessary.
